Siemens Simplified: Hicom 300 DID Trunks are Down

Monday March 19th 2012

Q: Our DID trunks are down on our Siemens Hicom 300 (9006) PBX and we are unable to receive inbound calls. What can we do?

A: For the Hicom 300 system, you need to pull the “hista” history table and display your T1 or PRI circuits to determine if they are green or red. If green, then display all individual channels on the span. Try to reset channels and then the card; if they come up in an unattached mode, you need to refer this to your local carrier to get the T1 or PRI reset.

Please feel free to give us a call with any questions at (866) 536-7305.
