Ciber, Inc. and Telizent (formerly 24-by-7 Service, Inc.) to enter agreement to provide maintenance service for a large federal agency

24-by-7 Service, Inc., a company that provides proactive monitoring and a wide range of infor-
mation management and technical services for enterprise telecom departments and maintenance service providers, announces a five-year agreement to provide services to Ciber, Inc. (NYSE: CBR).  Ciber’s Federal Government Solutions business unit selected 24-by-7 Service, Inc. as its sub-contractor in support of a significant maintenance contract for a federal agency which may not be named for security and contractual reasons.

“24-by-7 Service past performance with well known enterprise customers was instrumental in earning this multi-year engagement.” said Robert Emmrich, Ciber, Federal Government Solutions’ V P of Business Development.  This refers to strict Federal Acquisition Requirements process that vetted several national maintenance service providers in process of selecting Ciber.

“Their Customer Portal places 24-by-7 Service in a unique category among our telecom subcontractors.  Our organizations are able to seamlessly collaborate on a 24×7 basis, thus reducing costs and improving service to the end customer. Furthermore, the proactive monitoring capabilities give us a jump start on most issues. This really impresses the end customer,” said Ciber Project Manager, Erik Manning.
